Nairobi – Drive To Tsavo West National Park
Pick up from Nairobi city or at the airport and proceed to the Tsavo West National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa road. Enter the park at Mtito Gate and start your game drive en-route to your lodge or camp.
Arrive and check in good time for lunch at Ngulia safari lodge. Have some rest time followed by an extensive game drive later in the afternoon. Visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a 70km square fenced area where Tsavo’s growing population of endangered black rhino are inching their way back from the chasm of extinction that was forced upon them by rampant poaching in the 1960’s. Wildlife present in this park includes elephant, giraffe, buffalo, antelope, and lion among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
