Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Malindi Airport or after a road transfer from Mombasa, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in at Travelers Inn. Spend the afternoon unwinding at the hotel or take a leisure walk along Silversands Beach, known for its soft white sands and calm waters. Accommodation and dinner at Travelers Inn. FB
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Malindi’s historical landmarks. Visit the Malindi Museum, Portuguese Chapel, and the Vasco da Gama Pillar, which tell stories of Portuguese and Swahili influences on the coastal town. Stroll through the Old Town, where narrow alleys, Swahili houses, and curio shops bring the town’s heritage to life. In the afternoon, proceed to Gede Ruins, a 15th-century Swahili settlement hidden in the forest, and make an optional stop at the nearby Bio-Ken Snake Farm. Return to Travelers Inn for dinner and overnight stay. FB
Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for a day trip to Watamu Marine National Park, about 30 minutes away. Engage in fun activities such as snorkeling, a glass-bottom boat ride, or even scuba diving to view vibrant coral reefs and marine life. After breakfast, check out and visit Mambrui dunes ‘Dubai Dogo’ and also an optional excursion to Marafa Hell’s Kitchen a striking sandstone canyon located about an hour from Malindi—is highly recommended. It’s especially beautiful at sunset and perfect for photography.
