Start your day with a visit to Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese. You can explore the fort and learn about its history. After that, head to the Old Town of Mombasa, which is a maze of narrow streets and alleys lined with old buildings and shops. You can take a walking tour of the area and see the Swahili architecture and culture. For lunch, try some local Swahili cuisine at a restaurant in the Old Town (Swahili Dishes). In the afternoon, head to the beach and relax on the white sand and swim in the turquoise waters. You can also try some water sports like snorkelling or jet skiing. In the evening, accommodation and dinner at Tamarind Dhow for a sunset cruise. You'll sail on a traditional dhow boat and enjoy a delicious seafood dinner while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
Pick up to Mombasa Marine National Park, which is home to a variety of marine life like dolphins, turtles, and colourful fish. You can take a glass-bottom boat tour or go snorkelling to see the underwater world. After that, head to the Haller Park, which is a nature reserve that was once a limestone quarry. You can see a variety of animals like giraffes, zebras, and hippos, as well as a botanical garden and a butterfly pavilion. For lunch, try some fresh seafood at Sarova Hotel. In the evening, head to the Mombasa Go-Kart for some adrenaline-pumping fun. You can race around the track in a go-kart and compete with your friends.
